E-Mail Information -To contact a person at the Auditor of Public Accounts’ office through e-mail, you can use their first name, dot, last name immediately followed by @apa.virginia.gov. For example, to send an e-mail to John Smith, you would use john.smith@apa.virgina.gov.


Driving Directions - Our main office is located on the 8th floor of the James Monroe Building, in downtown Richmond, at the corner of Franklin and 14th streets (just off I-95, near the downtown train station).

• If traveling from west of Richmond, take I-64 East to I-95 South and then take the Franklin Street Exit (Exit 74B). Turn right at the stoplight. Our building is on the right.
• If traveling from north of Richmond, take I-95 South then take the Franklin Street Exit (Exit 74B). Turn right at the stoplight. Our building is on the right.
• If traveling from east of Richmond, take I-64 West to I-95 South and then take the Franklin Street Exit (Exit 74B). Turn right at the stoplight. Our building is on the right.
• If traveling from south of Richmond, take I-95 North to the Broad Street Exit (Exit 74C). When the exit splits, bear to the right. Go to the stoplight and turn right onto Broad Street. Go to the first light and take a left on to 14th Street. Our building is on the left.
