REPORT EDITOR AND GRAPHICS DESIGNER

 

Job Description

State audit organization seeks highly-motivated, computer-savvy and creative professional to work full-time in the Computer Applications and Reports Division as part of the Human Resources and Business Operations Team. Individual must be skilled at designing and formatting graphics for various electronic modes of communication such as audit reports, presentations, and recruiting materials. Experience with the design and editing of web pages is desirable. Successful candidate will provide support to audit management and staff, and electronically format and distribute audit reports to various state officials including the Governor and General Assembly.

 

Responsibilities

  • Editing reports and presentations with an emphasis on improving their clarity, conciseness, and use of graphics to communicate findings

  • Demonstrate proficiency in graphics design, Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent proofreading and editing skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work well independently and collaboratively

Preferred Requirements

  • college courses in graphics design and related areas
